Gettysburg Battlefield. Union forces held defensive ppositions behind these large rocks at the top of Litle Round Top; high ground overlooking the Valley of Death.

I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects.
