Gargoyles that adorn 800 West Ferry Apartments in Buffalo, New York. The face on all of the gargoyles is that of Darwin R. Martin, the original owner and son of Darwin D. Martin.

I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them.
