I hope they do not cover this sign. Build in 1895, the Werner building is in the middle of Buffalo's Genesee Gateway Historic District renovation project. The facades of these buildings have drastically improved since the project began a few years ago. (Yes, that is new snow blotching up the fron to my photograph. Buffalo has a long snow season and sometimes it feels you just can't escape it).

I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them.
