Squirrel Point Light is a lighthouse in Arrowsic on the Kennebec River, Maine. It was established in 1898, fifteen years after the founding of the Bath Iron Works, a major shipbuilder, five miles further upriver.

I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them.
