Also known as the Portageville Viaduct this bridge is at the southern end of Letchworth State Park in New York. Built over the Upper Falls at the park, the bridge is 800 feet ling and towers over the falls at 234 feet. The original wooded bridge built in 1851 was replaced with the present Iron "Spider Bridge" after a fire in 1875.

I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them.
