Description
Round Church, also known as Old Round Church, built in 1812-1813 in Richmond, Vermont, is a rare, well-preserved example of a sixteen-sided meeting house. It was built to serve as the meeting place for the town as well as five Protestant congregations. Today it is maintained by the Richmond Historical Society and is open to the public during the summer and early fall, It is also available for weddings and other events.

LOVELY image, Guy! I love it when I can get one of my images to look painted without a heavy effect..and this fits that bill. Although the effect we see here may just be the wonderful way the light was that day for you. In any case, I love this and REALLY wish I could come and see this structure one day! I've NEVER seen a round church! Cool! L/F

Thank you, Julie. This was timed for near sunset hour. To get the detail in the clouds, I processed in Nik HDREfex, but backed off on the saturation and strength to get the image as close as possible to a "natural" look for the building and grounds.
