The Douglas C-47 Skytrain, or Dakota, is a military transport aircraft that was developed from the Douglas DC-3 airliner. It entered service during WWII and remained in front line service with the military throught the 1950s.
I was raised in northern New York State before joining the US Navy where I became drawn to the technical aspects of film photography. During my travels I learned composition techniques, developing, and printing from serious amateurs and professionals. I eventually became more interested in the artistic side of this hobby and continued to explore more creative aspects. My interests focus (no pun intended) on the out-of-doors beauty of our world, both natural and man-made. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have enjoyed capturing them.
